So I've decided to call her Molly. She looks like a Molly. A couple of people asked me how I came about drawing her. Well it came out of a gesture class that happens at work, taught by
Dave Pimentel. He teaches the ways of Walt Stanchfield. You can find his words of wisdom on Jim Hull's
Seward Street blog. There was a twenties theme, and two fantastic models. I started doodling around at home and she popped out of the pen. I'm still trying to find her, so you'll be able to see the progression of what will work and what won't. I'll be finding out what shapes and proportions will be appealing, so I'll keep posting so you can see the progress over time as an experiment.
